In mainleus, one major construction project follows the next: in addition to the construction of two multi-family residential buildings in hans-grimm-weg last week, work has also begun on another multi-million project: at hauptstrabe 68, mainleus entrepreneur arno friedrichs is also building two multi-family residential buildings.
Work on the foundations is already in full swing, explains project manager sebastian turk, looking toward the train station as he walks through the earthen realm. It is located directly opposite on the other side of the mainleus main street.
"You can’t live more centrally", schwarmt turk from the location of the houses. The company is 600 meters away as the crow flies, the train station and a bus stop are in front of the door, and the school, town hall and kindergarten are only a two-minute walk away.
Initially, only employees of the company arno friedrichs hartmetall will be able to rent the buildings – at preferential conditions. The demand is there. "A public letting is therefore not planned for the time being", turk explains.
Twelve apartments will be built in the two houses. The three- and four-bedroom apartments are between 80 and 100 square meters in size and thus offer sufficient space for families. "There were surveys among the employees – and this rough fell on the most interest."
20 pitches are planned. The rear area of the property in the direction of the church remains vacant. A green area is to be built there.
Over two million euros invested by the entrepreneur, who is counting on upscale furnishings for the apartments. If everything goes according to plan, the buildings should be ready for occupancy by november.
