No way of life for all

The volkach way of life last weekend did not go down well with every burger. At monday's city council meeting, old town resident rainer binzenhofer complained about the noise.
He had been assured in advance that the live bands in the vicinity of the weinstrabe with the museum barockscheune and the kreuzgasse would be exclusively "unplugged", play without verstarker, in other words. Together with his mother, he had been subjected to such loud noise from two sides that he could no longer agree to the two-day event in the old town of volkach in the future.
"Unplugged heibt ohne verstarker" (unplugged heibt without amplifier), scolded binzenhofer. The measured larm values had been clearly in the health endangering range. "For me it is not about preventing the festival, but there must be a reasonable loudness", he also spoke on behalf of his mother, who has her apartment next to the baroque barn in kreuzgasse. Binzenhofer accused mayor peter kornell and the administration of breaking their word. The behavior on the part of the organizer was ruthless and disrespectful, binzenhofer said.
"The city demands that burgers obey law and order. I demand the same from the city of volkach." An "alarm hotline" that had been promised to him had been only an answering machine, which nobody had picked up.
No employee in the town hall had responded to his emails. For binzenhofer this is unacceptable.
Even in the past, there were considerable neighborhood problems with the city during the construction of the baroque barn, which have not been resolved to this day. He had tolerated these discrepancies up to now. "That's over now", said the complainant to the council, who seemed to be speechless.
Mayor peter kornell (G) could not defend himself that evening because he was not present and the meeting chair 2. Mayor reinhold reichl held. The latter took note of binzenhofer's complaint with the instruction to pass it on to the head of the city.
